Fabcom GA4 Connect is operated by Fabcom Communications Limited in Hong Kong. This is the GA4 connection feature in the Fabcom Portal. It lets authorised Fabcom staff connect Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to our staff portal for client marketing performance reporting. This policy describes the Google user data the app accesses, collects, uses, stores and shares.
When you connect Google, the app requests openid and email. It receives your email address, confirmation that Google has verified the email address, and a unique identifier that distinguishes your Google account. These identify who connected, check that the account uses a permitted Fabcom staff email address and label the connection. We do not receive your Google password or access your email messages.
The app requests https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly. Through the Google Analytics Admin API, it reads the names and identifiers of the Analytics accounts and properties your Google account can already access. The portal stores this property list so authorised staff can associate properties with client brands and select which are used for reporting. Connecting does not grant you access to additional Analytics properties.
For properties selected for reporting, the app reads summary Analytics reports through the Google Analytics Data API: dates, sessions, users, key-event counts, purchase revenue and transaction counts, with breakdowns such as traffic channel and the source and medium that brought visitors to the site. It also reads the names of important actions tracked as key events, so staff can match them to reporting categories. Where supported reporting features use custom dimensions (additional reporting categories configured in Analytics), this includes their names, definitions and summary values. Availability depends on the property's configuration and the enabled reporting features.
We use account identity to manage the connection; property names and IDs to discover and match client properties; and Analytics reports and event definitions to prepare client performance reports, dashboards and conversion mappings. Scheduled reporting can continue while you are signed out, using the authorisation you granted. This connection only reads Analytics data: it does not change your Analytics settings or publish advertisements.
The connected account identity, permissions granted and Analytics property details are stored in our private application database. Aggregated reports are stored in our private Google Cloud data warehouse. Stored access credentials, including refresh tokens that allow access to be renewed without asking you to sign in each time, are stored encrypted in Google Cloud Secret Manager. Access is controlled through application permissions and cloud access controls. Connections to Google APIs use HTTPS.
Google Cloud Platform provides our hosting and storage. Authorised Fabcom staff use the data to operate the connection and serve client accounts; relevant reports are shared with the client whose property they concern. We do not sell or rent Google user data, use it for personalised or targeted advertising, or use it to train machine-learning models. Other disclosure is limited to what is required by law. This app does not request access to Gmail messages, Drive files, Contacts or Calendar data.
Report data is retained in our warehouse for as long as we serve the client and is deleted on request under our existing reporting policy. Disconnecting stops future use of that authorisation; it does not automatically erase previously collected reports, property metadata or records of connection and disconnection actions. To request deletion of Google-derived data, email arthur.lau@fabcom.hk and identify the account or property concerned. We check the requester's authority before handling the request.
You can revoke this app's access in your Google Account permissions. Authorised portal administrators can also disconnect a connection in GA4 Connect. A successful portal disconnect withdraws the authorisation at Google and disables the stored access credential so it cannot be used by the reporting process. Disabling a credential is separate from permanently deleting stored data; use the deletion contact above for that request.
Fabcom GA4 Connect's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
